After 30 years in Canadian healthcare — working in clinical operations, health information management, and provider relationships — one thing became painfully clear: the systems Canadian clinicians depend on every day are failing them.

EMRs built in the 1990s, barely maintained. Hospital information systems that cost millions and take years to implement. Data trapped in silos. Clinicians spending more time on admin than on patients. And every time someone tried to fix it, they bolted one more piece onto an already broken foundation.
